Hi Everyone, and Happy New Year,

Have lived in Spain for almost 5 years, and although I filled out application forms etc for residency, and also paid a Gestor 2 years ago, we never actually got around to apply for it.

I have my own legally registered Spanish business here, but my young Son’s passport expires in March 2009. Obviously we are both UK citizens, although my Son speaks better Catalan than English, can I renew his passport here? (he is 10 yesrs old)

Please tell me that I dont have to return to the UK to do this.

We live in Tarragona province, in a village which is about 2 hours south west of Barcelona.

Many thanks for that, I have printed all the forms and DHL courier document.

I cant believe it costs almost 100 Euros to renew a childs passport including postage! The good old British Government can still rip us off, even though we dont live there any more.
