Hi Expatriator…

Sorry about the double post. When I was posting it, I was at home using a sub-56k connection and the first attempt came up with an error message, still must have gone through though.  :red:

Feel free to take one down.

At the moment, my best internet access is sat in my van out in the olives with the laptop and a 3G mobile stick. I still use the connection at home for the forums or email though.

We’re getting quite a few calls from clients with damp and water ingress problems at the moment.

Much of this is caused by the extremely bad winter throughout most of Spain and the abnormal amount of rainfall. In my part of Granada province, most of the locals are of the opinion this has been the coldest, dampest and wettest winter for around twenty years. At least they’ve had a small sample of what’s “normal” in the UK!

Many of the problems can easily be solved, whilst others can sometimes require major repair and preventitive work. Unfortunately in most cases it’s simply due to the fact that properties were not built originally with such wet weather in mind.

If you have a property in Granada or southern Jaen province and would like it checked out, don’t hesitate to give us a call. We can offer plenty of solutions and options to help prevent the re-occurrance of such problems in the future.

Likewise, if you’ve any questions or just need some advice, feel free to post here.
