I am returning to the UK (july aug i think) and need to ship all my 3 bed flat contents with me, i have had internet quotes varying from 2k-3k.I am finding all these on line quotes confusing as i don’t know how many boxes or cubic metres i have.Does anyone know of a good company that will come to my flat and give me a reasonable quote,as i am going back because i am broke.

I am not moving more than 2m2 (from my measurements)

1. 42in Plasma
2. 4-boxes of clothes
3. 1-flatpacked tv stand

I’ve been quoted no less than ?450 + VAT so far and I was looking for something a bit cheaper if possible since it’s really my TV, films, and clothing that I’d like to take back.

I’m renting my place here out, and moving back with my “important” items 😊

Hello! I’m moving from Santander/Spain to London/UK and was looking for any One-Way-Hire Van Service.

The problem is that most of those companies are located in the south of Spain, so far from Santander… and, of course, they are going to charge me aditional taxes for bringing the van here to Santander.

In fact, as I have no furniture to transport, my move is not big (about 7 m3 of books, clothes and other stuff). So, maybe a solution to make my move cheaper would be:
* to hire a removal company that has a van to transport it;
* to share the costs of a removal company with someone.

Please, do you have any idea or recommendation for me?
