I think we have been brain washed by the Spanish tourist organisation’s in believing that we will be happier if we move to Spain, i am considering moving to Spain myself. but when i look deeper, i see a place which has alot of misery and struggle and also lacks opportunity of real success.

i have also found out that the Spanish have become very racist towards the British expat community and that’s one of the reasons that loads are returning home to the UK.

I have live all round Spain and NEVER EVER run into any issues with any the Spanish Citizens…
There is a “Minority” of people like this around the world that yeap will give you a hard time…
To blend in The Expats Also Learn The Spanish Language.. This helps LOTS!

Expats are Leaving Spain because Spain is the worst affected in the EU. So expats have either lost there jobs or Business has dried up so on so they moved back to the UK.

Its not an Obsession to come to Spain alot of people plan to come here..

I would strongly suggest to change your attitude / Opinion before moving out here to Spain as this sort of thing will not help you get by.

May I list a MANY MANY MANY MANY more of what the Brits do… As A brit myself I know that we do things exactly the same Racism is everywhere.

But if you are finding examples of what is said in the press why bother?

Spain For Me has what I need… I am far Healthier / happier / relaxed than I’ll ever be…

REPORT WAS BACK IN 2004 ... that football com on there mate , not brit but do speck english and would ask where i am from r what part Uk .... like asking a canadien what part the Usa he are she from

1 long work hours here ... not you 9 - 5 like uk bed by 11 pm . spanish 8 am - 7 pm work hours

2 do you work in spanish here not english ...... so off the english here wont speck in spanish , there you problem .... when in rome do what the romans do
in span do what the spanish do please , you fine life lot easyer ...

3 work hard here and play hard at the weekend here ......

4 i work hard here and have good life .... get 8 weeks holdays here + my christmas and easter brakes

5 have lot off good spanish frenids , but seen An irish girl lol

list of the things that i beleve why we British are so obsessed with spain is as follows:

SUN:  as we all know there is alot of sun

SHIT: sometimes you get floaters on the coast and the spanish drainage systems full of it always having blockages and it stinks of it somtimes

TITS: plenty of that, see it everywhere, on the beaches, on the TV, especaily in Adverts selling ICE CREAM?

BACON: to keep the moors out

CHEAP BOOZE: ie. VAT 69 down it before you hit the town.
