Please can you advise us. We currently have a mortgage with La Caxia. We are finding the repayments very difficult to meet. Is there any banks that we can move our mortgage to, which we pay interest only. We have been with La Caxia since 2004 and have not missed a payment.
Apparently after our term of interest only finished, we were automatically put on a fixed rate of 6.9%. This is up for review July 2009. There is no redemption figure to pay. So therefore would be the ideal time to move the mortgage on to a more manageable figure.
