A little background.

I live on a small finca with my wife and 3 kids near San Javier, Murcia. We are surrounded by our Spanish neighbours citrus trees. These large orchards are regularly sprayed and are within about 25 feet of our building. Our neighbours make no consideration for us and we have been sprayed a good few times while sitting outside and in clear view of their spraying tractor. Now what I would like to know is how dangerous are typical pesticides etc used in Murcia and with being such a short distance from us can they legally keep spraying literally over the top of us. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks for the reply.

We have been here a good few years now and first time this happened we were in full view in our garden having lunch when we were sprayed completely and this was when we were on decent terms.
I agree might be nice to actually give us a knock at the door and say they were going to spray. Unfortunately relations have been strained since I dared to get annoyed when they decided to have their half yearly rubber/plastic bonfire directly underneath the telephone cable leaving me without phone , internet or ability to do my work for a week.
We are only on a little 500sqm plot but these are big orchards , I would say at least 10000sqm. Its not great for us adults but its the three young children I am worrying about.
