Hola all,

I would like to go at it alone!

Does anyone have any advice on:

A good web designer near San Pedro?
How to become legal? Do I register as unemployed under my own name or do I regster the business etc etc

Most importantly, I am at present on the Spanish dole…..I have heard about some kind of start-up scheme for new businesses that the government are ofering - does anybody have any info on this?

thank you in advance!

Hi Emma

I would advise That you to find an Umbrella Company to help you do all the Taxes and so on they also help you, they charge a fee monthly or weekly depends on there terms and conditions… They also help you claim more for your tax and so on…

With Regards to Government help I am sure that this was suspended due to some law or something not being correct…

As at the moment the Self-Employed etc are up in arms about government not supporting them enough with PARO ETC…

I wish you luck I think its the best way to work on your own at the moment if you can do it….

Regards

Mac.

What’s the new business going to do?

Consider using a self-build web site product like Synthasite (Google it) to get started - you can design a professional site very easily and it’s free!

Hi,

Thank you for your replies….

Does anyone else out there have any experience of grants?

Or does anyone know of any good web designers? It will be a large site so impossible to do alone…

Thanks in advance…

Hi Em

With the system of Grants that I know of In Spain its not worth it they tell you to get a bank loan as what ever your amount you wish for gets turned down

Website Design All depends on your budget… theres plenty of people (Especially out of work now) that can web design..

Google search…

Em,

Try a site like Elancer (Google it) to get quotes for your proposed site.  Interested to learn more about the business if you want to PM me?

I might be able to help you on a logo. Do you have any samples of how you want the logo to look?

I can build websites that will scale with your business, however large it will be so if your web designer doesn’t work out, I can help you.

Also, after you’ve built the website, consider search engine optimization- http://eziwi.com/search-engine-optimization.html

It’s the only way people will find you on Google and Yahoo- ORGANICALLY.

But, if you have a budget for Google Adwords PPC, I can help manage that too as I am Google Adwords Certified.

Send me a PM if you want to discuss anything privately.

Good luck with your business!

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the reply,

I am still waiting for quotations to come through, but I would like to work with a designer who I could meet face to face to explain my ideas, are you anywhere between Fuengirola and Gibraltar?
