Hello, I could not find this topic in any thread. I would like to know where to find free (or a cafe where you eat, drink coffee and pay) Wi-Fi spots in Madrid.
I know only one: The cafes that are in the last floor of El Corte Ingles (Princesa). If you know one, thanks!

I guess when you say “pay” you mean for the wifi? All starbucks cafes in Madrid have wifi you can pay for as does the Irish Rover Pub, Avenida del Brasil 7, Madrid

Where are you going to be staying and for how long? If you stay in a short term let apartment likely they will offer free wifi (like I offer on my short term let) - i guess hotels usually make you pay.

I know they have free wifi at the hotel Meli? Avenida America in Madrid.

I am not certain how many of the ones below are free, but I found this Wifi Hot Spots that supposedly lists some.

Please double check and write if they truely are free.

FYI. This is no longer true. All Starbucks in Madrid have eliminated their WiFi service. I have gone to many of them and asked about their WiFi and they have all said the same thing.

Really? Maybe the employees at all the ones I’ve gone to don’t have the correct info. I must have check about a dozen Starbucks.

Do you know if it was a Starbucks WIFI or a network close by that you could pick up a strong signal? I would love to find a Starbucks (or nice cafe with WIFI) that I can bring my laptop and work out of.
