Thanks for your tips, but not sure that’s the route we’re planning to take it down right now (in terms of a co.uk domain).
Good luck with your columns - where are you planning on having them printed ?

I don’t mean to throw a spanner in the works but many english papers and magazines don’t pay for articles and instead rely on free contributions or they employ staff writers, jobs of which are hard to come by. But then if it’s just extra pocketmoney I guess you can do without it.
Yeah, 3 weeks ago…if only I had seen your post or seen my notification email!

I considered the Sentinella when I was in Spain.

It has changed name and ownership since then, i believe.

I was warned away by a person who had a series of bad experiences and stories from several owners, i won`t write as I`m sure it`ll result in bad feelin.

I still post links here to the mag as it is a good concept and a great source of info.

But like all franchises, they tend to favour the sellers of the franchise, the few owners and all the readers.

A bit like Betterware, the more people invest, give up, the more betterware franchises get sold, betterware ain`t interested in the products as much, the profit is in the franchise sellin.

No franchise is good if you keep the same investor’s, the trick is too lose them after a period of time, but not too many as you get a bad reputation and then gain new investor’s, unless your MacDonald’s and can expand all over the world first, then dumb on the investor’s.

That’s where a lot of franchise sellers fall, the don`t expand enough and they gain a poor reputation.

good call. Yes i have to admit its a nice concept.

and yes, not that i am referring to that sentialla but franchises in gereal, its usually the franchisor not the franchiosee who gets greatest benefit.

and i know what you mean about betterware etc.

an ex mate of mine did Amway. Remember that? He drove everyone mental as he wouldnt shut up about it.
