a bar???????

no i have an internet business.

I can work anywhere in the world and frequently do!!!!!

and yes, business for us is down, but we cover a WIDE area (our customers come from the UK (all of it), Ireland and Spain), so no, not bothered in the slightest, it will pick up again, but i reiterate, i would advise anyone with half a brain and money in the bank NOT to buy a bar/cafe as they will sorely regret it. (i base that on a LOT of research and existing evidence)

Well i agree in total respect that bars are closing also cafes restraunts also Hotels 2 so far in Salou owned by Best Hotels!

However…............... I also think that if you get a bloody good deal on something thats really cheap.. and was did great business etc pre-crisis and can wait until next year as there saying next year will be back to normal (Again Risk To Take)
Some people that have been given a bulk of money when made redundant are looking ways of investing (Even though Again Risk with markets etc) so I guess people are looking for the easy option?

fair comment but speaking as someone who has been in business now for many years, the easiest option is rarely the best one…..............

My “great” idea would be Pork in the Feria`s.

Hog Roast service in Spain :

http://lamarinaforum.com/index.php?showtopic=8256&st=0&#e;ntry42200;

You didn`t read all my post.

The first link was too La Marina.

My point being that hog roasts are in Spain, in few numbers but are run and aimed at Expats.

To earn big Euro`s, as my info stated, take said hog Roast to the Feri`s, the point being my idea not so much the hog, but the location.

Another good business idea would be a

“SEX SHOP FOR WOMEN”

The sex shops in Spain tend to be a bit extreme, Ann Summers style is not catered for in most cities, there are only 2 Ann Summers in Spain.

There is a market for novalties for hen parties, you can find them in Spain, but a shop along the Ann Summers style would be popular amoungst Spanish women, at least the ones who ask my OH for stuff in the UK.

But like all businesses nothing is easy, trying to find a great brand with few outlay and risk is impossible, especially when you consider the amount of Brits trying to finance themselves in Spain.
