My daughter is 18, her father is a Spanish Citizen.  We were married 10 years but I never applied for citizenship. Now my daughter is moving to Spain and I would like to be near her and move there as well.  Can she, or at what age can she petition me to become s Spanish resident,  legal to work, and eventually a citizen?  I have American citizenship,

tasio1,
your daughter has to prove you depend on her economically to get a Tarjeta de residencia de familiar no comunitario de ciudadano de la Uni?n:
i suppose you can work legally with that tarjeta, you will know when you have it.
as an american citizen you have to accumulate 10 years of legal residence before you can apply for spanish citizenship.
you will have to give up your american citizenship while swearing allegiance to spain the spanish constitution and the king.
the united states will still consider you an american citizen, unless you renounce usa citizenship according to us laws.
