i am a briton with dual british and irish citizenship. my fiancee is a filipina lady, currently working in israel. i plan to buy a house in spain and live there, i think this would not pose too many difficulties as i’m european, but what problems would i face to bring her to spain? i assume we must first be married, but what then?  any advice would be appreciated.

byronic,
you can marry her as an irish citizen, and get her the irish residence card.
if you move to spain she would not need a visa according to the latest law on aliens related to eu citizens.
when you are settled in spain, she can apply for the spanish residence card issued to aliens related to eu citizens.
is she a legal resident or worker in israel?
