The aim of this site is to protest about ill-treatment of bulls and other animals in Spain, and also about the amount of public money that goes into subsidising bullfights and related activities.  I know some ex-pats feel it is not their place to criticise the culture of their adopted country - I used to feel like that - but I now know that Spanish people who are against bullfighting need and are grateful for our support.

Wouldn’T your time be better spent protesting against child porno,fight against terrorism,child cruelty,wife bashing,pheidophiles and many more causes the human race needs.Leave Spanish tradition to the Spanish.

I do support many human rights causes as well.  I love Spain but I believe, as do many of my Spanish friends, that she needs to come out of the dark ages when it comes to the treatment of animals, and it is important to make our views known.  I’m sorry if you don’t feel the same way.
