Just joined this forum. My wife and I currently live in Moscow, I’m English, she Russian. We want to buy property now with a view to retiring there in 10 years time.

We don’t want an area overrun by particularly UK expats as we are not into pubs and breakfasts. We’d like somewhere fairly rural but with close access to amenities(shopping, coast, healthcare). Areas we are considering are Girona, Tarragona, Lecrin Valley, Ronda.

Soon we intend to come over for a week and drive around on a rekky. Any hints/tips?
