Paypal Setting Up. Any Tips?

Has anyone a pay pal account? Because of increased client enquiries I am setting one up today. Before I get started on what is to a technophobe, a challenge, I would welcome any tips. Is it easy to set up a pay pal account? Is there anything to watch out for; to avoid? Cheers. Michael.

It’s not too difficult. If you click the Help tab on the home page, you will see a number of links, such as “opening and closing a PayPal account” which give very clear instructions.
Before you start you will need to decide which bank account, or credit card number, you are going to use for money transfers into and out of the PayPal account.
Also, it is a good idea to decide on a good strong password before starting. What is a strong password? One that is 10 or 12 characters long, using capitals and lower case letters and some numbers. Try not to use anything that resembles a real word. Eg. qBoo28Pnxz3J If there is anything you could use that is in some way memorable to you, better. Think about it, as I say, before you start. The rest is following the instructions.
At some point you will have to identify the bank account / card number, by allowing PayPal to transfer 2 small sums into your account. You will then reply to them with the amounts they transferred, and this will confirm that all the details are correct.

Didn’t get very far: Sign up, first question. In what country do you reside: Spain. Which language? English   ...  next :-  all the questions from there on are in - you guessed it; Spanish. Seemingly a presumption that if you live in a country you speak its language. It could be worse: I could live in China or Saudi Arabia. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Once you get in, go to the Profile (Perfil?) link, then select Language Preferences (idioma?), then English.
