Hi all I am looking for some electrical work in spain pref on the side for about 3 mnths just to get a feel for spain. It will just be a way to be able to stay a while and make contacts and get a feel for the place.

Paul—not that Spain always works by the book but I think I am right in saying that unless you have the correct Spanish authorisation papers you are not allowed to work as an electrician here - they have be officially registered and certified. Certainly in the Valencian region anyway - plus there are 1,000s of construction workers (incl sparkys) unemployed here….
