I wonder if anyone knows how to get cheaper electricity. I have recently moved house near Girona because i wanted more land. No problem,purchased and now get big electric bills average around 950 euros for 2 months…....
There are only 2 of us and we dont use any more than we did at our previous house. (old bills used to be around 250 )
The only thing I run extra are the pumps that bring the water from the wells, Is my free water actually costing me so much?

See if you can try and get an electricityusage meter and monitor it for a couple of days.
Sounds like something is wrong unless you are running a small hotel!!!

Not sure if it makes a difference, but we run on 3 faze and our electric bills are hugh too. Maybe find out if you are running on this? If not is it possible someone else is running off your metre?

That sounds incredibly high!  I woudl say you definitely need to get some testing done, running your own meter, and turning everything off that you are using… and see if indeed someone else is freeloading on your connection somehow.  Or perhaps by turning things back on one by one you will identify a rogue appliance or circuit that is bleeding you dry..?

Wow!! go right now to you trip switches and turn them all off then go to your meeter and see if it is still spinning, if it is you are keeping your neighbour Paco’s house nice and warm. XD

It might be also a wrong meeter reading, sort it out now! It’s not normal at all.

I live (just outside Girona)  in a 450m2 house with large pool, 13kw power allowance (thats HUGE), no air con, elecrtic cooker, a small electrical stove for my study, family if 4 and spend 280euro every 2 months.
