Hello

Im moving to Madrid

That’s a shame, thanks anyway.

A quick question, im not tefl qualified, can I still teach English?  Also, surely you’d need to speak fluent Spanish wouldn’t you?

hi Gemma,
Shame about Madrid, Barcelona is much nicer and we have a beach and the sea.
No, you don’t need a TEFL to teach (I don’t have one) if you’re a native speaker (it’s vital if you’re Russian or Polish etc) and for many types of classes it’s not neccesary to have a good level of Spanish. A lot of teachers here don’t even have a good level of English.
Good luck anyway.
Stephen

Also to improve your Spanish try NOT speaking English at home.Immerse yourself in the language (no English newspapers, magazines or TV)

Haha thanks but i dont really have a choice-my boyfriends just moved back home there!

Ok thanks thats good to know!  Cheeky-but do you know any similar companies to yours in Madrid?

Im trying my best to learn but its not so easy in england! 😊
