Do DAB radios work in Spain? Are second- hand goods, i.e. washing machines, beds, 3 piece suites a reasonable price or exensive?

Thanks

Coverage is very patchy, limited pretty much to major populated areas, so it really depends which part of Spain you move to.

It is a couple of years out of date but there is a DAB coverage chart if you go to http://www.worlddab.org/country_information/spain that will at least give you a good idea.

It is possible to get cheap 2nd hand goods. You can find bargains if you read the classifieds in free papers or can get hold of a ‘Friday Ads’ for your local area (available from newsagents / petrol stations etc).

Thanks for your reply. We were wondering whether or not to sell our bigger items of furniture or to bring them with us. I also found another thread that said most rentals were supplied furnished, so I’ll advertise that lot and hope to get some petrol money for the journey south!
