We live on an Urbanization Our house is sandwiched between 2 rented ones and for the last two years we have been pestered by Belgian and German holidaymakers. Why is it that people who come out here on holiday think they can do what they like?
We have had everything, loud music blasting out all day long, people standing not a yard away from each other shouting as if they were half a mile away, parties on the terrace that go on all night and people throwing themselves and others in the pool screaming and shouting at 3 am.
We have had both the Policia Local and the Guardia out on numerous occations but this only stops it until the next ones arrive. Does anyone have any ideas or advice on how we can stop this happening. We have aproached both the owners who say ” What can we do , we are not there”. Providing they rake in the money they couldn’t care less.
My wife is under the hospital with stress brought about by the noise and lack of sleep. They don’t respect us trying to sleep at night but expect us to be quiet if they choose to sleep in up until midday or for two or three hours in the afternoons.

Can you rent our your house and find a new quieter one with the money you make from holidaymakers? You could even get your neighbours to help you rent it out as part of the deal for not denouncing him.

Alternatively, you could ask for a share of the revenues he’s bringing in.

Finally, you might want to print out a bunch of notices and put them under the door of the neighbour’s house each time a new group comes in.
