Anyone know if there’s a auto group that does this? We need to buy a second hand car and hear it’s a nightmare!

Not the same as the UK, but some protection.

Its not really a nightmare, but you need to be aware of the legalities and protection you have, most expats buy without understanding the language, they then don’t complain.

In general I would buy from a Spaniard as opposed a Brit, but you still need to act the same as you would in the UK.

I think as far as I can tell they work with dealers? Unfortunately their search is limited and they don’t have a single car where we are in Asturias. If no RAC/AA equivalent then I guess it’s a case of finding a mechanic and getting the car to them for a once over, is this a common practice?
