im married to a spanish citizen and i have my regimen comunitario card (good for 5 years)  . we are thinking of moving to france. if we move there . can i work there, legally? do i have the same rights as an EU citizen ?

Yes. You do have the same rights to live and work in another EU country.

I am not very familiar with the French immigration law. I am in the same position but in the UK. I have been living and working for few years here legally with my EU wife. I reckon initially your spouse has to exercise her/his treaty rights in France (work/study/self-sufficiency) and then automatically you have the right to live/work in France. You should do some google homework first to find out how it works out in France.
