Hi all we are thinking of moving to the Antequera area on Spain to live in a mobile home , I have a few question i hope someone can answer for me, about the costs of living in spain.

Do you have a tv license?
do you have something similar to council tax?
What about the costs of running a car in spain?
Or any other costs that you pay for in spain

Many thanks

We live not far from Antequera. What park are you thinking of living on? There is no such thing as a TV license in Spain. Our ‘council tax is about 400 euros a year although I don’t expect you pay it on a park, as it will be included in your yearly fees. The costs of running a car in Spain are much the same as the UK although fuel is cheaper. Second hand cars are very expensive as are new cars compared to the UK. Electricity and water are also about the same as the UK. Any thing to do with telecommunications is expensive compared to the UK.

If I can be of any further help please contact me as I know the area well!!

Hi, I live on a mobile park in the area and know the two you mention.
Caz is right, we do not pay any rates (tax) on top of the ground rent.
You should also consider La Posada, all 3 are different and can be looked at on the same day.
