I will be moving to Barcelona in the summer of next year and as the months go by I am both anxious and extremely nervous with the financial part of my journey. Would 10,000 US dollars be a practical figure to shoot for, to get me established and live while looking for work and attending college in Spain? If not please go into detail as I need all the help I can receive and will be really thankful for it.

6-8months really? wow! Thats actually amazing I live in a big city in the US now and it is ultra expensive. I am also a known bargain hunter and enjoy finding deals and inexpensive places to shop. Would that amount be okay in a place like Ciutat Vella? And is a living cost of around 800 Euros a month accurate?
