Do you have a link you could post with prices of Spanish furniture?
We are moving from the US and wondering if we should ship (our stuff) or buy in Spain?
This is a permanent move.
We expect mid-range prices.
Thanks for you help!

Unless you have very valuable eg antique furniture, it’s hard to imagine it’s being worthwhile to ship over - and what works well in one style of home often doesnt look good in a different country/place anyway.  My suggestion would be to sell up and liquidate everything you can, then take time to shop around this end to furnish your new place.  There are also lots of house sales and secondhand options around, with so many people leaving,

good luck with your move!

Hi Harvard Biz,
There are plenty of co’s that offer a ‘full package’ to kit out a 1/2/3 bed etc popterty.
But these can be quite pricey! (But the funiture I must admit is of quite good quality).
Eg of price - complete 2 bed apt furnishings (beds, cabinets, tables, chairs etc) around
Eu30,000

Try villapak - (google them) - as even though they are not the most professional outfit in the world (and it is
their business kitting out apartments, including kitchens), they currently have an ongoing sale of furnishings and
fittings.

Google again - The Sur In English. com   They are our local English language newspaper with lots of ads in
for funishing cos.

I know on the whole furniture can be very pricey here (Benitez is ort local largest store in Fuengirola), but it is what the Spanish
want?

You could of course go to Ikea and get good solid basic stuff at a reasonable price (there is on in Sevilla and Malaga for sure - go look them up online for local prices)

Good luck with the move and the new life!

Hi Harvardbiz,

You can try http://www.miahomecorner.com/b2c/ they have good quality and reasonable prices. I used tgo work in a moving company and most of the times the trasnport is more expensive than the furniture, only worth if your company is paying for it or you have very expensive furniture.
