I’ve been quoted 400 euros and I think it’s plain robbery, I have my own dish and there’s no roof climbing involved, it’s just a matter of fixing it to the balcony and pointing it to Sky really..

size of dish please and where are you ?

Ooops, I thought you could see that, I’ve written it in my profile, I’m in Pontevedra, North of the country, close to Ireland but luckily not too close;p How do I make the location on my left just below the koala?

Our local (English) guy charges Eu50 for a call out and that includes the first bit of the work.
I.e It is a straight set fee if he pins the dish to the bracket, but more if he has to start drilling holes etc.
Then he charges a ‘job price’ over and above the Eu50.  Ours cost Eu90 to install in the end.
This included tuning and tying off of cables (which I had already supplied).
He charges around Eu350 (the going rate?) to supply dish, cables and box and to install. 

We are in Malaga, so no use to you, but hope the price guide helps.

ps - I have recently bought my own sat tuner (from Maplins in UK - ps - they will not post outside of UK so I had
to pick it up when I went on hols).  Hoping to ‘get round to it’ and get us back on line with some of the channels that
we have lost due to bad dish alignment (It is very windy where we live!)
