Hello

Can anyone help?  I am part of a small community of mixed property, from flats to semi detached houses.  It has been decided that the owners now wish to vote by percentage as opposed to equal shares.

We need to be able to work out a property owners voting weight.  That is, if a property owner has property that has a percentage of 100%, 80% or 110% depending on the property size then the vote for the owners will vary according to the percentage.

My question is can anyone supply a spreadsheet formula that will permit a YES or NO vote to be entered into the equation to arrive at a value that can be added up to provide an answer as to weather or not a vote has been passed or not.

Sorry that this is rambling but I do not know the correct terms, I hope you will be able to understand.

Regards

Multiply their vote by their percentage of ownership. No?
