I just moved to Madrid and want to apply for my residence (which includes the nie right?). I found the ex16 form online. Is it possible to get the payment form online as well? Also do you think I have a shot walking in and pretending I have a appt. Several people have told me to give it a try.

Also just to make sure I need the ex16, model 790 form, two passport photographs, and two copies of my German passport or national ID? And I’ll have to go to C/ Manuel Luna, 29 in Madrid.

New rules… Residencia form required is now EX-18 and yes your NIE number is issued as a part of the application..

Modelo 790 is not available on line…

Two copies o the application form are required.

Other information is correct but you might not need the photographs as you are originally from an EU country.

EU applicants are issued with a residencia certificate not a plastic card. the certificate has no validity without your current National ID or Passport.

Thanks! Good to know. Where in Madrid can I get the modelo 790 & ex 18 then? I want to walk in on friday morning to apply for the
residencia certificate.

Modelo 790 should be issued when you hand in the application form, take this to the nearest bank, pay the fee and report back to the office.
