Hello everyone,

I am a guy from Turkey and working for a British company for a year now. The company has branches all around the world and I chose Barcelona two months ago. Previously I was located in Istanbul. I am still doubtful if I did the right thing as I was very surprised to see that the Spaniards hardly speak English. Until I get a proper language course, it appears that establishing any connections to the Spaniards will be a futile try. Yes the Spanish speak Spanish surprisingly!! LOL You will need to learn the lingo.

Travel to big cities and generally you can communicate with the locals in English ,Barcelona , Catalunya then spanish then english ... You will need to learn the lingo as cazzy has said ..
