Hey Folks,

Just received my FBI background check (clean)...my brother is taking it to the State Department tomorrow for an “apostile” stamp.  My appointment for the Consulate in New York city is June 28th…after that, I wait for about three months for the visa approval.  It’s been an incredible journey so far and to finally be where I am is a minor miracle.  I still plan to depart the States on November 3rd.

Just wanted to provide an update.

I think I mentioned in an earlier post that it wasn’t “red tape” I was running into…it was “burgundy”...!!!

Hi,

If it is only Burgundy that are running into, it can not be that bad. I know that that can cause a few headaches though if you do not treat it right.
