The music in Spain is like anywhere else in the world with some local differences. Also you should know that Spain is quite big and different styles are appreciated.
The flamenco thing is more like a clich? than close to the truth.

I think that’s quite true although Copla music, which is more modern but quite similar is surprisingly popular in Spain. Most popular with the younger generation, particularly for dancing are Reggaeton or Merengue rhythms. Also, seemingly every Spanish girl I know seems to love Alejandro Sanz!

High, I wanted to know what percentage of people in spain play a musical instrument, or if you don’t know the actual percentage, is it your impression that many spaniards play a musical instrument, particularly as compared to anglo speaking countries? Thanks.
