does algerian have the right to apply for spansh citizenship after married a spanish wife ?

Didn’t you already post about this elsewhere on the site? You might need to be patient.

In general I don’t see why Algerians wouldn’t be able to get citizenship, except there seems to be a lot of prejudice against the Algerians these days… hopefully that won’t be an issue for you.

Is there something we don’t know?

hi there thanks for the reply ,by the way there is nothing that u should know about algerian is just that i’ m freaking out right now ,i’m resident in england and m about to get the permanent resident in the uk ,as my wife got a job in iberia we had to move to spain now so i’m thinking to go to spain and try to get the spanish citizenship would that be possible plz help me i dont want to be looser both ways,

Getting citizenship takes time. If she’s Spanish and you get the ol’ libro de familia then what could go wrong?

thanks for the reply ,my question is that we got married in may 2003 in london and we register our marrige in the spanish consulate in london in 2003 so they issued us with the libro de familia about 4 and half years ago ,we want to go to spain to live as my wife got a job as a cabin crew in Iberia ailine based in madrid so we will go to spain to apply for the spanish citizenship for me ,can you tell me what are the procedure when i’m in spain ,how long does it take to apply for the citizenship and what are the document needed to apply ? do i need to work and pouve it with the pay slip or i can apply just after one period of time that i’m redient in spain ?

P.S:does my libro de famillia issued in 2003 count in the aplication form as i’v been married to a spaniard for 5 years ? does it help or no ?
