I’m wondering if anyone knows what the regulations are concerning the import of cars from other EU countries into Spain. The reason I’m asking is that i recently bought a car in France and will be moving to Madrid in the next 2 or 3 months.

Hi Errol,

Sorry, me again! I imported my car from the USA so you will have no problems. A colleague of my husbands imported his car when he moved here from Holland - again no problem. How long have you had your car - I’m not sure if this is significant but it might be. It must be done within 30 days of your registration at the town hall. Since you are moving to Madrid I would suggest you use the same guy i used to take care of the paperwork for you.
