CONSCIENTIOUS COUPLE READY TO SAFEGUARD YOUR SPANISH PROPERTY DURING YOUR ABSENCE.

Hello, Marg & Don here ready to secure your Spanish home, and cherish your pets during your absence. We offer excellent up-to-date home, pet-care, plus veterinarian references. Flexible and conscientious is how several home-owners have described our behaviour us over the past decade.

“THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE CARE AND AFFECTION YOU BESTOW ON OUR PROPERTIES AND PETS.” This quote of 2008, reflects the sentiment of all home-owners we?ve assisted.

We are home-owners ourselves, attentive to household needs, pet-cuddling, and are respectful of owners? property and privacy. We relish new surroundings and cultures as writers/researchers/photographers who also indulge in regional, historical, and photographic data.

We offer peace of mind and regular house /pet-status email updates, while securing your Spanish property against the unexpected, in our low wear and tear manner. We’re well versed at coping during home-owner’s absence for lengthy periods.

We?re currently securing an 18th century Irish manor on 6 acres, a repeat assignment for the past four years, while the owners adjourn to other homes in Spain for 7 months.

Prior to this was a two month assignment caring for a contemporary home, a former Swiss mill at the foot of the Alps, while the owners attended to business in Asia and America.

Before that a 2-month assignment, an historic Scottish Highlands estate manor on many thousands of acres, for repeat clients who relish sailing in exotic regions of the globe.

Before there, we occupied a country residence in the Peak District of England for two months, for repeat request clients who frequent mainland Europe and Australia.

Prior to that, was a 12-month, prized townhouse home and pet-care assignment in high-altitude Colorado, USA. Again for a repeat client who relocates to Eastcoast USA, Hawaii, and Europe for business and pleasure reasons.

Before there, a separate 3-month Colorado house and pet care for Australians holidaying with family in Australia.

Before that again, was a state of the art, Queensland, Australia, pole-house with beach-view deck, accessed by 4-wheel-drive only.

Earlier still, a lengthy house and pet-care assignment on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia.

The list goes on. Photos of these and other assignments can be seen at a separate website, on request. All were prime properties that required security and accountability for owners on distant shores. Each owner has kindly asked us back for additional property and pet-care assignments. Their pets continue to greet us like family.

We relocate to new properties with practiced ease, be they next door or on distant shores, settle in fast, and are fortunate to have travelled much of Spain. We have no children, in case you have safety concerns at your home.

We generally drive our own vehicle where the duration warrants, and both of us hold unblemished EU driving licenses, if required to exercise home-owners vehicles. A Jaguar and Hyundai car to exercise at this current Irish property. And yes, we’re legal to reside/work within the EU.

We’re both NON-SMOKERS and enjoy outdoor activities, tennis, running, biking, sailing, and hiking where possible. We both enjoy cooking and relish fresh food markets. We behave in a quiet manner, are conscientious of neighbours, and spend much time working and telecommuting on our laptops when not involved in property management, exercising pets, researching, or engaged in local contract work. We’re not that big on TV, yet a home library is always of interest to us. We have a basic command of Spanish and French. We’re careful when it comes to antique furnishings and prefer to maintain a tidy house to detect if anything is amiss in our new surroundings.

If our profile sparks your interest, please contact us for the web-link to our property-care photos along with work reference which helps to outline our global movements. We’re happy to address your concerns, requests, or suggestions, regarding your home.
Regards, and happy travel planning for 2008/2009
Marg & Don

How? ...did we get started? Hmm, rather innocently, one hot day, by seeking directions in the desert, back in the 90’s, would you believe.

Thousands of miles from home and we meet a local who is amazed at the desert research we’re doing. By ourselves as usual. He offers assistance, and even helps rectify our limping vehicle. Then suggests we perhaps need a place to recoup, and insists we mind his desert-edge retreat and vehicle for a couple of weeks while he takes of for greener pastures. We never saw him again after that. And so it began, caring for others properties in our travels.

Simple eh? Hope that’s not too dull an answer, Mart.
