We are coming to Spain in our Motorhome to look for property for our retirement.  As we shall be there a while we will need to buy Propane for the truck on our visit.  Can anyopne tell me if the English “Calor Gas” fitting is freely availabe in Spain or will we need another type of Bottle/Regulator.  We were sold a “European” cylinder from a friend but do not know if this is Spanish standard or not.
As we leave this week-end any help would be gratefully received.

No the UK standard fitting is not used in Spain. The only type of cylinder that you will find in the UK and Spain is “camping gaz” unfortunately this also tends to be more expensive. You could get a Spanish regulator and “bomba” for use while you are away.
