hi, from new member,
me & my wife are moving to Costa Del sol in sept 08 .I’m gonna start up a small building company
along the lines of reliable, experienced, Brit builder Spanish prices, no job too small etc etc
I’m hoping to pick up enough work from the local ex pat community, thats why we are locating
along the Costa Del sol ( cheap rental,many ex pats). any feedback will be appreciated.

Be on site at the agreed time and day and do what you said you were going to do on that day. (Brits customers really can’t get to grips with the “manana” attitude of many of the builders here).
You will probably need to hire people from time to time but be warned that there are a lot of people down here that say they can do a lot of tasks that they can’t actually do or have even tried to do before.
Sub out work to people that you know are not going to mess you about. Cheaper is not always better.
Don’t put too much faith in deliveries being anywhere near on time.
