Hi all, my husband, two year old son and I are moving from the UK to the Barcelona province in September. My husband will be returning to London at weekends for work and I am in the process of doing a TEFL course with a view to teaching english part time. I find this site very helpfull in preparing us for our move. My concern is, however, spending weekends alone with my son as my spanish is very basic at the moment and we do not have any contacts in the area. Does anybody know of any parent and todler groups around Tarragona? I am happy to socialise with people of all nationalities. Cheers. 😊

You shouldn`t have to many problems.

I spent a year commuting from Malaga to the UK on the weekends, that was hard goin, I couldn`t do it for longer, its supprising how kids get confused when one parent isn`t around much.

Its worth getting an access pass to the VIP lounges in the airport, don`t know about barcelona but Malaga flights were delayed reguarly.

You usually see offers in the inflight mag on the plane, cost me about ?50.00 but I saved money as drinks and snacks were free along with TV and newspapers.

Its much more relaxing too.
