It’s either a somewhat academic way of referring to the species psittacus erithacus, or a secret code intended to make contact with sleeping enemy agents in preparation for an imminent invasion, probably by Moors.  I’d refer the matter to the security authorities, if I was you.

Hmm, you think so? I wonder if he found someone to carry his 25kg package from the UK for him.

You left because you didn’t have a sense of humour?

[serious face on] I just used the search feature at the top of the forum and I think I found the people you are looking for. It took me just a few seconds http://www.spainexpat.com/spain/forum/viewthread/2193/ [/serious face off]

Thank you Warren P for your input. Sorry, maybe I did not make myself clear at the beginning but I am trying to contact owners of African Grey Parrots who reside in Spain. There must be thousands around by the amount of seed etc sold here every month.

BTW. I do have a sense of humor otherwise I would not have lived here as long as I have!

Spaniards tend to eat seeds, especially pippa`s con sal, yummy.

Canaries are popular here, the only parrots I`ve seen around here are wild and free.
