The Mijas council are trying to sell off a luxury hotel.

Nobody turned up to the auction of the hotel which had a reserve of 15.1 Million Euro`s, which is believed to be half its true value.

The hotel was originally owned by Aifos who were involved in the Malaya corruption case and owe Mijas Council 1.2 Million in unpaid taxes.

Since nobody turned up to the Auction, the council is now desperate to sell off the place.

If you got some cash get your offer in within 6 months

Don`t be silly, legalities are just pieces of paper.

The council just wants it`s 1.5 Million in Taxes.

Mind you it wouldn`t be unusual for an owner to purchase the place, pay the council and then get evicted by said council on planning issues.

Whats the saying “A human is the only creature on the planet to trip over the same obstruction twice”.

Well in Spain “A Spaniard is the only creature on the planet to trip over the same obstruction, that they provided, twice”.

Before I`m condemed as anti Spanish, it was a Spanish friend who told me that quote.

Let’s hope we are still immune to tripping over our own obstructions twice.

Jurdy: I got another 1000? pledged from a friend here. We’re all over it - spainexpathotel… I should go reserve the domain right now.

Great, so we’re at 8k. Only 14,992 more investors with 1000? and we can really do this.

Anyone care to put up 100k?
