Hello, I am looking for a city street atlas for Madrid and Barcelona and was wondering if anyone could recommend anything. I am looking for something similar to the A-Z London atlas or the pocket Paris atlas from Michelin.

Are there any street atlases for Madrid and Barcelona? If so, would anyone have a web site where I could
purchase it online?

Thanks.

Via Michelin or Paginas Amarillas.es or qdq.com

These are all good for street maps

Hi and thanks for the responses. Unfortunately none of the replies led to any street atlases of Madrid or Barcelona. I’ve checked stanfords.co.uk but they have fold out maps….and no atlases.
What do the locals there use?

I have one in my car!  I’ll check out the name tomorrow and post the name here. I bought the guide when I first moved to Madrid 6 years ago and it’s what taxi drivers use. You can buy it in most kiosks here in Madrid (and no doubt Barcelona). Anyway, I’ll get back to you on this one!

That would be perfect! Thanks! Also, if you know of a web site where I can purchase it online would
be great. Mapart.com is what we have here in Canada and I have a street atlas for Ottawa in my car
as well. I haven’t seen any web sites for Madrid or Barcelona though.

I’m so sorry I have taken so long to reply back - it slipped my mind. The Madrid Atlas is published by Altemax (I think). Here is a link to a site that is selling it http://www.construmatica.com/libros/l/atlas_de_madrid_2006_guia_callejero_de_madrid_y_28_municipios/25259
I hope this is useful for you!

I think its easiest to get one when you come to Madrid - you will get them at every kiosk or tourists shops and some hotels even give them away for free. 😊 don’t worry!
