Hope you don’t mind if I ask, but how long did it take you to do it. My husband also worked in CCTV and looked into operating over here, but found the process far too complex to get the DGP registration number. Are they still requesting the 12.000 ? deposit if you are an ‘autonomo’, or maybe you have set up as a company?

Hi,

It takes time to obtain the relevent documents but as a specialised company we got them pretty quick.

I am sorry but i do not wish to diclose any information on anything to do with security and the police on the forum, as it is not company policy.

I hope this helped.

Without getting into to much hassle.

I thought you`d like some info from someone on the business.

Your Web site does not list any trade references, qualifications, registered bodies, NACOSS or Equivalent Spanish body etc etc.

Also there is no contact address for an office location.

If I was a potential client, I`d want 2 things when looking on the net for Security Specialist, one is proof of there abilities and two would be that there legit.

There are a number of Franchises availble in Spain that offer a person the option to purchase into the alarm industry, such as

http://www.franchiseforsalespain.com/franchise_business_for_sale_spain_burglar_alarm_cctv_business_spain.html

So anybody can become a Security Expert over night. All you need is the 3 day course in Torre Del Mar, 2 days in the field and some Sales training & 14,995 Euro`s.

See here.

http://www.franchiseforsalespain.com/franchise_business_for_sale_spain_burglar_alarm_cctv_business_spain_page_2.html

Now 5 days don`t seem long to me for something as important as Security.

I`m sure you are all you say, I`m expressing my opinion as a potential client would as the Costa Del Sol is a place that you have to be paranoid in and far more careful than the UK.

I hope you find that helpful. If you can rise above the type of people operating in this area, as the Franchis above I`m sure you`ll do well.

Just be aware that there are a lot of inexperienced people working in southern Spain, many Expats are becoming aware of that fact.

If you can show your seperate to that, you could do well.

Thanks for the input expat, much appreciated.

I totally understand. We are a nacoss company back in the UK but are waiting for the relevent documentations to come through with out them we cannot say we are a trade member or with any organisation.

When this does come through we will get it put on the website, but i can reassure you we are a very professional and legitimate outfit.
