Hi,

I am going on holiday to spain for 14 months and curious to know if I will need to pay tax on my income from the UK.

I wont be working in spain or becoming a permanent resident.

Income is profit from a company I own in the UK.

By the book you become a tax resident after 183 days (6 mths) but if it is only a holiday and you dont generate any income in Spain and you do continue to pay tax in the UK I think you will probably be OK as changing systems for only 14 months will be a lot of work.

Under Spanish and EU rules you cannot holiday in Spain for longer than 90 days, after that you then become a resident of Spain.
Under UK rules you would also not be resident in the UK.
