Hi folks,

Was wondering if anyone can let me know if their is much call for vehicle valeting over in the expat communities and when my spanish is good enough the locals. Used to run a valeting and contract cleaning business in uk and i am coming over in a few weeks to look at the market and do some area research. Looking at Murcia/costa blanca direction.
Would be grateful for any info or experiances.

Cheers

Andy

I knew some guys that were making a living at it but it is hard graft - the competition is the Spanish car washes I pay 2 euros for a high pressure wash and clean. Good luck.

Do you plan to be mobile?  I had a real hard time finding a guy who would go to someone’s home to clean their car.  That’s here in Marbella.

I heard there was somekind of law against cleaning cars on the road or outside your house.
Does anyone know about this.

Hi was looking at premises with mobile but have learn’t from other forums that it is illlegal to wash a car on a public road. This would make mobile valeting very difficult.

Not if you work in an area with villas.
