Hi everyone,

I’m an American with dual US and UK citizenship, and my wife is a British citizen.  I’ve been studying Spanish for a year, and my wife is fluent in the language, from having studied it at uni 20 years ago and from having lived in Spain for a number of years.  We are currently living in the UK and would like to relocate to Spain within two years, after I become more proficient in the language and after she finishes a project at work. 

I know the Spanish economy is in utter shambles at the moment, but I’m curious where might be our best place to find IT (development or project management) jobs.  Is there such a thing as a Silicon Valley of Spain (like Reading in the UK)?  I suppose one option is to find an international company which will allow one to work remotely, but I’m discovering that these aren’t easy to come by. 

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
