My family and I are looking to move to Spain. I am a qualified and practising primary teacher and would like to experience teaching in Spain. Can anyone give me any guidelines of the expectations from my application or where best to look for jobs. Many Thanks

teaching for kids in schools is quite heavily qualified here. Do you mean teaching in english or in spanish?

Hello Von,

You might want to check out the teaching section of the “Make a Living in Spain” page.

Many thanks some really useful ideas here and on associated links. Was wondering if it was possible to get TEFL qualification online or is attendance at a course necessary?
Many thanks again

It’s very possible. One company (of many) offering online TEFL courses is i-to-i.

Since you’re already a primary school teacher, I think in-person courses (where you presumably gain teaching experience) become less important.

Although you might want to talk to someone who has taken a TEFL course. I have not.

Good point.

i-to-i is advertised on the tefl page here on the right side. Check it out.
