Hi Everyone!  I love expat sites.  I used the one in Brussels a lot, when I lived there!  I am in Interior Designer living near Toronto…and I’m hearing so many great things about Barcelona that I really want to move there and check it out.  I’ve been reading a lot about moving there, but I am a bit stressed about finding a job.  When I look online there are so many IT jobs available and suddenly I feel lost in cyper space.  Does anyone know how companies in Barcelona react to people like me, 29 yr old female, walking in to their business and showing them my portfolio?  Would I be better off to market myself as a self-employed consultant for other xpats?  (Seeing as I don’t know a lot of Spanish.)  Also, what is the weather like in the winter months along the med. coast?
