My partner and I have been planning for a while on moving to Barcelona this year after he graduates from university, and we wanted to bring our two cats with us. Here in Canada, most places (if they even allow pets) charge a “Pet Deposit” which can be a small setback, but is that kind of mentality normal for Spain? Are most places accepting of pets, or are they more of a “nuisance” (for lack of a better word)?

Also, we were wondering which websites are best for looking up places to live (rent)? It wouldnt be until July/Mid August until we move there, but we wanted to get a headstart to get the know which areas charge which prices and so forth.

Any advice, or life experience tid-bits you can share would be immensly appreciated 😊
