We are moving from Surrey to Malaga province on 01 Feb. We are hiring a van to move our belongings and will be travelling by ferry Portsmouth to Santander and then driving to Frigiliana.  Does anyone have any recommendations where to stop in Spain overnight?  We have our large Weimaraner dog travelling with us - does anyone know of a pet friendly place where we could stay?  Obviously, with a van full of belongings, we’d need to keep the vehicle in a safe place.  I have read of hotels accepting pets but it never says what SIZE of pet!  I am sure we are not the first to travel with a huge dog.  Any suggestions?
