My Husband and I are staying in between Manilva and La Duquesa next week. We have been to that area quite a bit but not dined in that particular area as we usually stay in Estepona or Benahavis.

Its my 35th Birthday and I am therefore looking for a nice romantic restaurant with excellent food - preferably local or spanish food, not interested in oriental / indian etc.

Can anyone give me the names of any places that would suit? We would be willing to drive inland or to the coast within about a 15 mile radius.

Ermmm. Have not lived down that way for a long time - so not sure what is on offer at present.

But - Benahavis is the center of gastronomy that way, so you should find something!  (Just google Benahavis village and you will see what I mean!  perhaps trip advisor can give you some more clues/reviews?)
