Hello!

I am a US-expat recently arrived in Bilbao with my husband (Colombian national) and 2 kids, ages 4 and 1. My husband and I are thrilled to be back in Spain - this time permanently! - after meeting as grad students in Madrid 13 years ago. We are researchers at the University of Deusto with an emphasis in medical psychology.

It is incredible to think of our life just over 3 months ago in Richmond, Virginia. With the apartment finally furnished and paperwork in order, we are finally starting to feel settled. This all still seems unreal!

Looking forward to making connections with other expats on this forum and getting some advice on US/Spain taxes.
